Registration deadline for the IMC: 31 August 2012

IMC Main Event (20-23 Sep 2012)

Together with the IMC registration form the full IMC registration fee (155 Euro standard triple occupancy or 100 Euro no accommodation fee) plus any additional room supplement (double or single occupancy) should be transferred to the IMO Treasurer Marc Gyssens. These fees are valid for early regisrtation until 30th June, and you should add 15 Euro for late registration after 30 June 2012.

Extra days and Optional Tourist Package (before 20 Sep or after 23 Sep 2012)
 
Participants registering for any extra days (before 20 Sep or/and after 20 Sep 2012) and/or any optional tourist package (excursions) should pay 50% of this total amount together with their IMC registration and the 50% balance until 1st Sep 2012 or during the first day after their arrival in La Palma.
To allow more meteor workers to attend and contribute to the conference, participants are encouraged to consider contributing to the support fund by adding a gift to their own registration or membership fee. Members contributing more than 26 EUR will get Supporting Membership status.
The registration cost includes the entrance to the conference, accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the main IMC event (20-23 Sep). Meteor workers who are prevented from attending the IMC because of financial considerations are encouraged to apply for financial support.

Credit card Payments through Paypal

For credit or debit card payments we use the services of Paypal.com. When you click the PayPal logo below, you will be redirected to their secure website to complete the payment. Your payment will be made to the IMO treasurer (payment@imo.net). Make sure you have also submitted the registration form.

Note: PayPal charges us a fee for each transaction. Because we try to keep the conference fee as low as possible, we are obliged to charge this cost to those participants paying with Paypal. For this reason, the fees shown below are a bit higher:

The exact amount of the PayPal fee will be shown in your registration confirmation.  Expect it to be between 3.5% and 4% of the entire fee to be paid.

 
Other Means of Payment

If you can't use either the international bank transfer or the Paypal service, please contact the IMO treasurer for instructions.

 
Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy for the main IMC2012 event (20-23 Sep):

  • before 1 July 2012: full reimbursement, reduced with a cancellation fee of 15 EUR;
  • between 1 July 2012 and 19 August 2012: partial reimbursement of 75 EUR;
  • 20 August 2012 or later: no reimbursement.
Participants having applied for IMO Support are entitled to a full reimbursement provided they cancel within two weeks after notification of the decision.

 

The cancellation policy of Astro Travels regarding cancellation of any extra tourist days and excursions:

  • before 1 July 2012: full reimbursement, reduced with a cancellation fee of 15 EUR;
  • from 1 July 2012 onward, but before 20 August 2012: partial reimbursement of 50% from the registration tourist package (extra days and excursions);
  • from 20 August 2012 onward: no reimbursement.
