About this site By the decision of the International Meteor Organization the next International Meteor Conference will take place in Frombork, Poland on September 26-29. This page includes helpful information for prospective conference participants. Registration If you wish to attend the conference, please fill out a registration form and send it to: Ina Rendtel Mehlbeerenweg 5 D-14469 Potsdam, Germany Registration fee includes lodging, meals and the Proceedings. Total cost of the registration is 100 EURO. Send the registration form until 1 August 2002. Reduced fee We offer a limited number of reduced fees (70 EURO). Anyone interested in that form of support is pleased to prepare a speech. Mail to us for further information. Travel options We will provide bus on 26 September for participants who arrive at Gdansk-Trojmiasto Airport or at Gdansk Glowny railway station, which takes you to Frombork. A timetable for that bus will appear later. Another way to get to Frombork from Gdansk is to use a PKS bus (departure from bus station near Gdansk Glowny at 13:00;16:35;18:50;19:50). Of course you may wish to go by car, but we do not recommend this option, because of the poor quality of the national roads. The best option is to check available routes using travel services on-line. Then book a ticked to Gdansk. Here are links to railway connections and air connections.
