This directory contains multi-station video meteor data from the Japanese MSSWG. Yoshihiko Shigeno writes: "The Meteor Science Seminar (MSS) was founded on October 8, 1978. The seminar is convened four times a year in Tokyo, Japan, for studying about meteors. The Meteor Science Seminar Working Group (MSSWG) was organized in this connection. Until 1992, it had been engaged in double-station photographic meteor observations, and since 1993 it has pursued double-station TV meteor observations. The six members of the group are listed below (in order of age). Yoshihiko Shigeno, Masayuki Toda, Hiroyuki Shioi, Shinichiro Yanagi, Yoshiaki Shinto, and Shoichi Tanaka. "MSSP" of the orbit data ID indicates a photographic observation, and "MSSI" indicates II+TV observations. The TV observations may contain meteors showing large observational errors. Care must be taken when handling a meteor of which the standard deviation of the radiant exceeds 0.5 degree." A part of the database was published and described in the following articles: "Double-Station TV Meteor Observations", WGN 24-1, 1996, p. 37 "Double-Station TV Meteor Observations", WGN 24-5, 1996, pp. 161 "Double-Station TV Meteor Observations in 1996", WGN 25-4, 1997, pp.161 For any questions regarding the contents and the use of the database, please, contact: Yoshihiko Shigeno 2024 Kizuki-sumiyoshi Kawasaki City 211-0021 Japan
