On November 14, 4 impressive fireballs were observed and video recorded over Europe and the US. Three days later, another set of very bright meteors appeared in several places. On November 16th, 2017, at 16 h 40 min UT (18h 40m local time), a very bright fireball was recorded over Northern Finland: it was recorded by several cameras over the country, and the blast originating from the meteor was felt by many people. The fireball was also observed from Norway and Russia, and it seems its magnitude was close to -20 (100 times the brightness of a Full Moon)!

Another very bright meteor was recorded from camera stations in the Netherlands (Noordwijk, Oostkappelle) and France (Cappelle-la-Grande) thanks to FRIPON and Oostkappelle Project video networks on November 17th, 00 h 27 min UT. According to Klaas Jobse, who recorded the meteor with the Oostkapelle Project camera, the persistent train was recorded during more than 10 minutes, althought the fireball appeared very close to the horizon!
