Enhanced activity of the June Bootid meteor shower was predicted by three independent numerical modelling attempts by Sato, Shanov, Dubrowskiy, and Vaubaillon which were confirmed by Lyytinen. Times given covered roughly June 23, 10h to 19h UT.

Average ZHRs from visual observations of the 2004 June Bootids are compiled below. Significant activity was found by the observers. Because of the limited temporal resolution of the activity profile, the peak time is still very vague, perhaps near 13h30 UT. We would like to thank the observers whose data were used for the below activity profile.

A few observations with large correction factors due to
unfavourable conditions were omitted from the analysis.
A population index of r = 2.2 was used. The radiant was
assumed at alpha=223, delta=+47, zenithal attraction was
taken into account for each individual observing period.
